OUR SUBTEAMS
Queen's Relectric is comprised of four technical sub-teams with specialization in three core engineering disciplines, namely Mechanical, Electrical, and Computer Engineering. We pride ourselves in our design capabilities to develop new EV conversion technology and frameworks. Our technical work is supported by our business branch, which manages our finance and brand-related campaigns.
ASSEMBLY SUB-TEAM
The Assembly Sub-Team is responsible for assembling the Go-Kart's physical parts, such as the chassis, brakes, wheels, rims, and integrating components from Electrical and Mechanical. Assembly is responsible for training pit crew members. Assembly ensures the Go-Kart is fully functional and meets competition standards.

INTERIOR SUB-TEAM
The Interior Sub-Team is responsible for developing the Go-Kart’s digital dashboard and telemetry systems to improve performance monitoring. The Raspberry Pi–based system gathers key data such as motor temperature, wheel speed, and battery status, providing real-time feedback to both the driver and pit crew.
ELECTRICAL SUB-TEAM
The Electrical Sub-Team is responsible for the design, testing, and implementation of all electrical systems within the Go-Kart, including the motor controller and battery pack. This is accomplished by rebuilding and improving the power and control systems for the go-kart.

MECHANICAL SUB-TEAM
The Mechanical Sub-Team is responsible for designing and manufacturing components using detailed engineering drawing and their integration into SolidWorks. Their primary focus involves mounting the motor, the battery box, the HUD display, and how to deliver power to the drivetrain.
MARKETING SUB-TEAM
The Marketing Sub-Team is responsible for developing and refining Relectric’s brand strategy through a comprehensive multimedia rollout involving professional videography content,
web development, and a curated social media presence.

FINANCE SUB-TEAM
The Finance Sub-Team is responsible for developing and managing the project budget, ensuring all financial resources are allocated efficiently, and securing the necessary funding and
partnerships to support the team’s goals. Cultivating external relations with like-minded companies and organizations.
LOGISTICS SUB-TEAM
The Logistics Sub-Team is responsible for planning internal events, intra-Queen’s outreach, and sustaining relations within the team. Researching and developing educational and technical content for community engagement. Logistics also develops the team's design report for the evGrandPrix.
